Launceston - Ross - Miena - Launceston

Midlands highway

Sunshine again - luckily we have a great day planned.
First we are going to Campbell Town, my absolute favourite town in Tassie as it has the best Leather shop.
No photos here - I was too busy shopping for shoes.

Ross - one of Tasmania's famous old towns on the Midland Highway.

No visit would be complete without a visit to the famous Ross Bakery for a Vanilla Slice.

After taking a wrong turn we had to give way to the local sheep herd -

Back on the road again we went up to the Miena and the Great Lakes :-

Scottsdale - Launceston

Another rainy day

Another rainy day - unbelievable !!

Before leaving I had to take a few photos of the gardens at Anabelle's, would love to come back one day and see this garden in full bloom.

Arriving at Launceston I was very pleased to see that The Old Bakery Inn had been refurbished since our last visit - it is very nice.

Launceston :-

Nougat and Trevina cuddled up in bed to get warm.

Bicheno - Wineglass Bay

Walk into Wineglass Bay

Today the sun is shining again - lucky for us, we are walking into Wineglass Bay today.

A short ride, followed by a quick change into walking gear and we are off in glorious sunshine.

The surf at Wineglass Bay was spectacular today -

The walking crew picnicking at Wineglass (with Nougat who insisted on coming today)

On the way back we stopped at the Bicheno Motorcycle Museum, small but the bikes were in immaculate condition.

Hobart to Bicheno

Rain again

Leaving Hobart in sunshine it looked like a nice day - wrong !!
We stopped at Richmond for morning tea, intending to visit the Bear Shop and the Bridge.
Down came the rain - and that was it.

On the bikes and straight to Bicheno in the drizzly rain, just enough to spoil the view and make it a wet ride.

Luckily later in the afternoon at Bicheno the weathered cleared up enough to go for a walk.

Aitch spotted the perfect "fisherman" photo
And then just to prove he is a decent bloke he showed the fishermen their photo.
